I have been playing a variety of blade/muscleback irons for the past 16 years or so when I saw the Haywood 100's with very little fanfare..I decided to give them a run. Now, after two weeks I felt it was time to provide a deep dive into the RAW 4-PW set. I put the irons through a gauntlet of courses here in MD (Lake Presidential, OakCreek, Country Club of Woodmore and Enterprise GC)..all with very unique layouts and challenging greens... the 100's stood up to the challenge and then some. Visually these are the most uniquely crafted irons I have ever played... Clearly Josh and the team loved geometry: Milled v-shape soles with a grind unlike anything I have ever seen. The top line is small but frames the ball perfectly. The leading edges are RAZOR sharp (that is not a catchy description.. LITERALLY razor sharp) so the turf interaction is like asking your barber to take your full beard down to a 5 o'clock shadow.. clean shallow divots on command! The shape of the heads are compact with a slightly high toe just for the added confidence. The ability to shape shots, launch it high, mid, and low... honestly there is nothing the 100's cant do. Pair that with the RAW battleship grey finish like an old navy aircraft carrier. Soft as butter and incredibly forgiving. The stock pictures do not do them justice nor will my review. At the time I am writing this review, mine is only the 3rd... but trust me, there are big smiles on our face! I am a Haywoodgolf lifer now!
